UV Fused Silica Plano Convex (PCX) Lenses are plano convex lenses based on UV fused silica.
UV fused silica glass material has a wider spectral range (185nm-2.1 μ m) than K9 optical glass, excellent transmittance in the UV band, lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, and higher chemical resistance and low fluorescence, which can be used to make various optical elements. The fused silica planoconvex lens will focus the light into a point. Its characteristic is that the focal length is positive, with one side being flat and the other side being convex. Commonly used for aiming and focusing monochromatic light sources. When in use, place the convex surface facing the incident light.
