K9 Plano Convex (PCX) lenses are flat convex lenses based on K9 optical glass material.
K9 optical glass is an excellent optical material with a wide spectral transmittance. It has high transmittance for light with wavelengths of 350nm-2000nm, high hardness, and can withstand various physical and chemical stimuli. It has low content of bubbles and impurities, so it is often used as a substrate for various optical components. The K9 plano convex lens will focus the light into a point. Its characteristic is that the focal length is positive, with one side being flat and the other side being convex. Commonly used for aiming and focusing monochromatic light sources. When in use, place the convex surface facing the incident light. The combination of K9 plano convex lens and other lenses can be used for different applications such as beam shaping, beam collimation, beam expansion, and beam reduction.
