Details

Germanium Plano Convex (PCX) lenses are flat convex lenses based on germanium.
Germanium is a commonly used optical glass material in the infrared band, with a transmission range of 2.0-16 μ m and high refractive index and high Nusselt hardness. Germanium is inert to air, water, acid, alkali, etc. and can be used for thermal imaging and infrared imaging in harsh environments. It can serve as a substrate for various optical components, such as lenses, window panels, etc. A plano convex lens focuses light into a point. Its characteristic is that the focal length is positive, with one side being flat and the other side being convex. Commonly used for aiming and focusing monochromatic light sources. When in use, place the convex surface facing the incident light. The combination of germanium plano convex lens and other lenses can be used for different applications such as beam shaping, beam collimation, beam expansion, and beam reduction.
Guangtan Intelligent provides lenses of various sizes and focal lengths, offering coated and uncoated products. The broadband anti reflective film provided can be used in the IR2 (infrared 8-12 μ m) band to meet various applications in different scenarios and bands. Guangtan Intelligent can also customize lenses of other specifications according to your application needs.
