Details

UV fused silica wedge prisms are usually used to deflect the incident beam to the specified direction according to a certain deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing beam can be positioned in any direction within a pyramid with the incident beam as the axis through the relative rotation of two optical wedges. The wedge angle of the wedge prism and the anti reflection film on the back can reduce the interference of ghost images reflected on the back surface. High precision substrates ensure the accuracy of reflected and transmitted light wavefront.
UV fused silica glass has a wider spectral range (185nm-2.1 μ m) than K9 optical glass, and has excellent transmittance in the UV band. It has lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, higher chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence. It is an ideal choice for UV applications
