K9 Wedge Prisms are commonly used to deflect incident light beams to a predetermined direction at a certain deflection angle. When used in pairs, the outgoing beam can be positioned in any direction within a pyramid with the incident beam as the axis through the relative rotation of two optical wedges. The wedge angle of the wedge prism and the anti reflection film on the back can reduce the interference of ghost images reflected on the back surface. High precision substrates ensure the accuracy of reflected and transmitted light wavefront.
K9 optical glass is an excellent optical material with wide spectral transmission. It has high transmittance from 350nm to 2000nm, high hardness, and can withstand various physical and chemical stimuli. It has low content of bubbles and impurities, so it is often used as a substrate for various optical components to produce precision optical components.
