The standard precision polished non spherical lenses of LightSense Intelligence are different from molded non spherical lenses in that they are processed using precision polishing and can produce large diameter (≥ 10 mm) non spherical lenses with smaller non spherical surface errors. The surface of the non spherical lens has been optimized to adopt a more complex outer surface, and the direction gradually changes from the center of the lens to the outside of the lens edge through curvature to reduce spherical aberration. When focusing the collimated beam, it should be incident on the non spherical side of the lens, while when collimating the light emitted by the point light source, it should be incident on the plane of the lens to achieve the minimum spherical aberration.
