Our non spherical lens fiber collimator has a fixed focal length and, after factory alignment, can be used for single-mode fiber jumpers to collimate the output light of FC/PC, FC/APC, or SMA connector fibers. Both sides of the non spherical lens are coated with anti reflection films, which can effectively reduce surface reflection and provide diffraction limit performance in the wavelength range of 543nm to 1550nm. For certain application scenarios, collimators can also be used for other wavelengths within the wavelength range of the anti reflective film. However, due to the chromatic aberration of non spherical lenses, the effective focal length will vary with wavelength, so they can only achieve the ideal collimation effect at the design wavelength.
