The control film layer makes the reflectivity of polarized light s close to 1 and the transmittance of polarized light p close to 1. When the light beam is incident on the film layer in air, due to the relatively small refractive index of air, it is not easy to reach the Brewster angle condition, so the film layer must be sealed inside a laminated prism.
Compared with a beam splitter, the reflection and transmission optical paths of a beam splitter are equal. When transmitting light, the beam splitter prism does not have the impact of light deviation, so there is no problem of beam translation, ghosting, or interference. Used for spectroscopy and imaging. No need for long-term calibration when incident at a 45 ° angle. The P component of the incident light is completely transmitted, while the S component of the incident light is reflected in a perpendicular 90 ° direction.
