UV fused silica glass has a wider spectral range (185nm-2.1 μ m) than K9 optical glass. It has excellent transmittance in the UV band, lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, higher chemical resistance and extremely low fluorescence. It is an ideal choice for UV applications.

Note:Although a right angled prism satisfies the total reflection condition for 45 ° incident light, its reflectivity is greatly affected for beams that deviate from vertical incidence. For applications with large angle incidence, it is recommended to use a slanted aluminum coated prism.
