Details

Positive Achromatic lenses are double glued lenses with positive focal length, used for correcting chromatic aberration and minimizing or eliminating it to the greatest extent possible. They do not come with installation rings and need to be installed by oneself.
Achromatic lens, also known as double bonded lens, is made by bonding two types of lenses with different refractive indices and dispersion indices. In order to achieve better performance, the surface with a larger curvature radius (flat surface) should be away from the collimated beam. In addition, achromatic design also helps to greatly improve the imaging aberration of light sources (composite light sources) with a wide wavelength range, as well as reduce the spherical aberration and chromatic aberration of the sphere. Compared with optical systems using a single lens, achromatic lenses have clearer imaging, further enhancing the optical performance of the lens. Achromatic lenses are suitable for various applications such as fluorescence microscopy, image relay, detection, or spectroscopy. Compared to single lens, achromatic lenses can form smaller light spots.
Guangtan Intelligent's achromatic adhesive lens products provide almost constant focal length over a wide wavelength range, and are available in stock as positive adhesive achromatic lenses, negative adhesive achromatic lenses, and achromatic lenses coated with various anti reflective films. The options for anti reflective films include VIS, NIR, and SWIR.
