Details

Germanium (Ge) Windows is a parallel planar plate commonly used as a protective window for electronic sensors or detectors of external environments. When selecting a window, attention should be paid to the material, transmittance, transmittance band, surface shape, smoothness, parallelism and other parameter indicators of the window panel.
Infrared ultraviolet window is a type of window designed for infrared or ultraviolet spectroscopy. Window panel design is used to prevent electronic sensors, detectors, or other sensitive optical components from being saturated or experiencing light damage. Germanium is a commonly used optical glass material in the infrared band, with a transmission range of 2.0-16 μ m and high refractive index and high Nusselt hardness. Germanium is inert to air, water, acid, alkali, etc. and can be used for thermal imaging and infrared imaging in harsh environments. It can serve as a substrate for various optical components, such as lenses, window panels, etc.
Guangtan Intelligent provides flat windows on germanium substrates without coating or coated with anti reflective films, and offers IR2 (8-12 μ m) anti reflective film window plates with double-sided anti reflective properties.
Note:It should be noted that germanium material is a toxic material. Please wear gloves when using it and wash your hands after use.
