Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) Plano Concave (PCV) lenses are flat concave lenses made of calcium fluoride as the base material.
Calcium fluoride material has a wide transmission spectrum range (180nm-8.0 μ m), high damage threshold, low fluorescence, high uniformity and other characteristics. Its physical properties are relatively soft and the surface is easy to scratch. It is commonly used for laser collimation and is used as a substrate for various optical components. Flat concave lenses can diverge light rays with a negative focal length, with one side being flat and the other side being concave. They are commonly used for beam expansion, projection, and enlarging the focal length of optical systems.
